Funding Options

There are various ways beyond personal finance to fund your new career.  If you are working with a vocational training and placement agency you may qualify to have part or all of your tuition funded by the organization.  Additionally, many major trucking companies offer reimbursement programs as part of employment.  Below is a partial list of different funding and financial aid programs students have used: 

Additionally, if you are paying out of pocket, Pegasus can commence your new career training with $1000.00 down payment.  The balance of the training must be paid prior to final testing at DOL.

We also accept major credit cards (additional fees of 3.5% apply)

OIC, National Farmworkers Program.  

Did you or anyone in your household work in farm work, animal production or food processing in the last two years?  If so, you may qualify for funding thru this program.  Please contact Lupe Sanchez  at  509-406-0219 or by email at  L.S@oicofwa.org 

In addition for providing funding for this program, OIC can offer tuition assistance to your dependents as well to attend college!!  So give them a call to get more information!

 We are an approved WorkSource training provider.  Please contact your WorkSource representative for information to see if you qualify.  WorkSource may require pre-employment prior to authorizing funding. Pegasus Corp is able to assist in pre-employment placement through our Administrative Office.  

If you are a current DVR client, inquire with your counselor about training and funding options. If you are not a current client and feel you may qualify, please contact your local DVR directly.

As of July 2009, Pegasus Corporation is an approved training provider for Labor & Industries. Please contact your case manager for further information regarding attending our CDL program with L&I funding 

If you currently qualify for BFET (Basic Food and Employment Training), you may also qualify for retraining benefits thru DSHS.  Contact your local DSHS office for more information for details on various assistance programs.

Contact your local bank for personal loans.  Some financial institutions may offer secured or unsecured loans for this type of training.  We are currently working with Wells Fargo Bank, and will update any information on progress to fund students

Many major trucking companies have reimbursement programs that will cover part or all of the cost of tuition.  Prospective students are encouraged to research the various reimbursement programs available prior to training as well as during their job search.

Pegasus can commence your new career training program with $1000.00 down payment, with final payment due PRIOR to completion of training program.
